(A)Challenge
Develop a food and coffee brand, that conveys quality, warmth and approachability while resonating with a diverse audience. The brand needs to create a sense of comfort and trust, making customers feel welcome and connected whether they are experiencing it in-store or interacting online.
Its visual identity must be highly versatile, adapting seamlessly to various platforms and materials. This includes digital screens for marketing and social media, product packaging that stands out on shelves, and in-store decor that creates an inviting and cohesive atmosphere. The design must maintain a consistent tone and aesthetic, ensuring the brand's personality and message shine through across all touchpoints.
(B)Approach
The branding's warm red, subtly infused with a brown undertone, creates an atmosphere of passion and comfort, reminiscent of a welcoming café. This inviting tone sets the stage for the mascot—a lively, bubbly character wearing a cap and holding a steaming cup of coffee. Designed with a retro aesthetic, the mascot captures a sense of nostalgia while staying fresh and modern. Its cheerful and approachable nature makes it instantly relatable, drawing in customers and making the brand memorable.
Adding to this charm are hand-drawn illustrations of cafe items. These playful, cartoon-style drawings not only complement the mascot but also add variety and adaptability, making the brand suitable for use across multiple mediums.
